How it works
FOR VOICE ACTORS
For voice actors, it's simple. Once you're part of Empowered VoiceOver Academy, we'll send you an invitation to create your profile. Our team then follows a thorough vetting process to make sure it meets the standard of the directory.
If approved, your listing goes live and you become part of a trusted, searchable directory that brands, agents, producers, and creative teams are actively using to find talent. If not approved yet, we'll work with you to get your profile Spotlight-ready.
REQUIREMENTS FOR VOICE ACTORS
Be a trained voice actor
We want this directory to represent the craft with integrity. You should have invested in your training and have a genuine understanding of what professional voiceover work involves.Hold a minimum of 2 current, professional demo reels
Your demo is your calling card. It should be well-produced, current, and an accurate representation of where you are right now — not where you were three years ago.Have an active online presence
Whether that's a personal website, a casting profile, or a professional social presence — people need somewhere to find and verify you beyond the directory itself.Be a member of Empowered VoiceOver Academy
The Spotlight is a community built from the inside out. Listing is open to EVA members who are ready to represent themselves — and this community — with professionalism and pride.
